The name "Castle Island Hymns" refers to a centuries-old fort on the Boston coast, not only affording a a specific reference to the city and culture which God has called them to engage, but also affording a welcome reminder that amidst our ever-changing world the cross stands as an eternal and immutable reminder of the finished redemptive work of Christ: our "mighty fortress"; "our help in ages past, our hope for years to come."
